Passed away peacefully at home after a long courageous fight, with her family by her side, Sunday, August 5, 2012. Age 68 years. Survived by her three daughters Tammie (Gary) Sanders, Trudy Thompson and Tina (Bryan) McElfresh. Six grandchildren Nicole (Andre Aregbesola) Corrado, Rachael (Sean) Bergin, Josseph (Ashley Butz) Corrado, Kyle Thompson, Zachery and Samantha McElfresh. Five great-grandhcildren DJ, Leah, Sean Jr, Danny and Joseph Jr. Three brothers Howard (Chris), Raymond and James (Carol) Johnson. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents Emil and Irlene Johnson. Born in Branerd, Minnesota. Longtime Joliet resident. Lifelong member of First Assembly of God Church.
