Of Lockport, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, at Silver Cross Hospital, Friday, October 3, 2014. Age 65 years. Survived by his wife Robin Parker (nee Beal), a daughter Theresa (Adam) Moore, Four grandchildren Brandon, Carrigan, Bailey and Jordan. Two brothers J.C. (Carlean) Parker and Roger (Glenda) Parker. Two sisters Joan (James) Isbell and Patsy (Greg) Hopkins. His mother-in-law Edna Beal. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his his daughter Tracy Lynn Parker (2005), his parents Conner and Ruby Parker and his father-in-law Larry "Butch" Beal. Dave was born March 21, 1949 in Alcorn Co., Mississippi. He was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic, retiring from Local #150 Operating Engineers. Dave was a avid hunter and fisher. Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. Memorial services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, on Friday, October 10 at 7:00 P.M In lieu of flowers memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 P.M. until time of services at 7:00 P.M.
