Passed away at the Timbers of Shorewood, Sunday, November 25, 2012. Age 78 years. Survived by a son Gregg (Tammy) Johnson of Barrington, IL. Two grandchildren Lauryn Rose and Tyler Dean Johnson. His brother Richard Johnson of Joliet. Preceded in death by his wife Donna J. Johnson (1982) and his parents Albert and Violet Johnson. Dean was born March 3, 1934 in Joliet. He Graduated from Joliet Township High School Class of 1952. Veteran of the U.S. Army where he played basketball at Ft. Collins. Dean was the co-owner and operator of Imperial Electronics in Joliet for over 50 years. He enjoyed living on the Kankakee River and spending time watching his grandchildren play various sports. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Friday, November 30 at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Rodney A. Juell officiating. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Angels Grace Hospice, 440 Quadrangle Dr. Suite G, Bolingbrook, IL. 60440 will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.
