Obituary

– of Shorewood, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, Sunday, November 14, 2021. Age 90. Survived by her devoted children Karen (Dennis) Wills, William (Linda) Riemer, Linda (Manuel) Alonso, her grandchildren Craig (April) Wills, Jennifer (Robert) Fisher, Ryan Wills, Bryan, Kyle and Corey Alonso, Deanne (Scott) Friddle; great grandsons Aidan and Wyatt Fisher, Austin and Alex Friddle, her sister-in-law Donna Suski and her grand dog Lucy. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Verna (Chapman) Suski, her husband Raymond Riemer and brother Edward Suski. Dolores was a proud graduate of Joliet Township, class of 1948, where she met Ray, her high school sweetheart. They were married for 50 years and enjoyed spending winters together in Florida. Dolores was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church. A devoted mother, she loved caring for her grandchildren, attending their activities and hosting family gatherings, her family was everything to her. She was a loyal fan of Notre Dame football and the Chicago Cubs. She loved marching bands and was very supportive of the Joliet American Legion Band. Funeral services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 353 N. Midland Ave., Friday, November 19th with visitation starting at 10:00 A.M. followed by services at 11:00 A.M. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials to Lightways Hospice or Joliet American Legion Band would be appreciated
