Donald F. Watts, of Rockdale, IL, was surrounded by family when he passed away on September 6, 2024, at the age of 85.

Donald was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and loved motorcross and camping. He was a Little League Baseball coach for many years. He loved to do the "toughest 10K in the Midwest" called the Rockdale Ramblin' Run. More than anything, Donald was a loving husband of 50 years before the passing of his adored wife Coralee, loving father, devoted grandfather, and proud great-grandfather. He was, and always will be, a United States Marine.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Coralee and sister, Evelyn Miller.

Donald is survived by his children Kenneth Watts of Marion, IL, Russell Watts of Ransom, IL, and Michael (Mary) Watts of Rockdale, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind14 nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Carlson Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Road, Joliet, IL). Donald will be laid to rest with his wife, Coralee at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL) on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 2:30 P.M.
