Donna M. Robertson (nee Mathis)

Passed away peacefully, Friday, October 22, 2023. Age 81.

Survived by her loving husband of 61 years Robert Robertson, daughters Tana (Kelly) Fryer , Heather (Mike) Brown, her son Brett Robertson, grandchildren Kirsten (Josh) Kjos, Emma Fryer-Ressmeyer and Ethan Fryer-Ressmeyer,  Courtney Brown, Justin Brown; great-grandchildren Nora and Rhea, sister-in-law Jean Mathis, nephew Keith Mathis and Yvonne Van Horn her "adopted" daughter.

Preceded in death by her parents John and Sylvia Mathis, brother Ken Mathis and nephew Craig Mathis.

Donna was in customer relations at Marley Candles for over 30 years. She was a longtime member of Messiah Lutheran Church, she was a co-leader of the Norwegian dinners, she was in the junior choir and organist, and enjoyed coordinating Secret Pals at church. She had a great love for music, she enjoyed cooking, sewing and baking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church 40 Houbolt Road, Joliet, IL. Wednesday, October 25th at 10:00 AM. Visitation from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM.  Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday at church from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
