(nee Lohmar) - Passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Lakewood Nursing Center. Age 92. Survived by a daughter Barbara (Leigh) Anderson, two sons Jack Douglas and William (Diana) Douglas. Six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband Robert Douglas, a son Stephen Douglas, her parents John and Agnes Lohmar and a brother John Lohmar. Born December 21, 1921 in South Wilmington. Founding member of Jesse Walker Methodist Church and now the Hope United Methodist Church. Member of the Beta Sigma Phi. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed doing things with her family. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. David Price officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:30 A.M.
