Obituary

Earl F. Bishop - Of Joliet, passed away peacefully at Lightways Hospice Home, Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Age 96 years. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years Irene (McKay) Bishop, two step-daughters Vicki Neverman and Cindy (Lou) Ambrosch, granddaughters Courtney (Mike) Polcyn, Haley Ambrosch, Taylor (fiancé Michael Berlin) Neverman and his great-grandchildren Addie and Luke Polcyn. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his sister Shirley Fugett, two brothers Robert Bishop, Grant Bishop and his son-in-law Gary Neverman. Earl was a lifelong resident of Joliet. He was a proud Veteran of W.W. II serving in the United States Navy. Earl had a great love of music, and a unique ability to be able to play most instruments. He loved the Packers, he enjoyed bowling and golf. His family was a priority for him, and spent as much time as he could with them, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorials to Lightways Hospice will be appreciated. Private family funeral services will be held.
