Edward R. Jackinowski, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Edward was born on April 11, 1952, the son of the late Raymond and Catherine (nee Sterioti) Jackinowski. He was born in Joliet and was a graduate of Joliet East High School. Edward worked for several years at United States Steel and Wire. He also worked for his brother, Raymond, at A-1 Signs, Inc., a family owned electrical sign business doing sign fabrication and installation. Edward was a loving son, devoted brother and a cherished uncle who will be missed by all who knew him. Edward is survived by his brother, Raymond (and the late Doris) Jackinowski; nephew Raymond (Angela) Jackinowski; niece Donielle Jackinowski-Kinsella and several great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Private family funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist- Sayles Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Interment St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Minooka. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward's name may be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
