Edward Lamarr Mercer was born and raised in Joliet, IL., to Edward and Janet Mercer. He attended Joliet Central High School, graduating in 1999. Edward went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 after a very courageous battle with brain cancer. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Geri and Lucky Gullicksen, grandmother Mary Mercer grandfather Leroy Randell, his mother Janet Mercer and sister Chandra Mercer. He leaves to cherish his memories his grandmother Helen Randell, grandfather Henry Mercer, father Edward Mercer, brother Ryan Mercer, two sisters Tanesha Bray and Chaneekah Owens. Five children Amari Mercer, Adasia Mercer, Kaliyah Mercer, Miari Mercer and Edward Lamarr Mercer Jr., also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
