Elizabeth "Liz, Lizzie, Lizzard" was a person who lived for eternity. She worked tirelessly to seek out people who needed to hear about Christ and how they could know for sure how they could be forgiven and go to heaven. She loved working with children and sharing the gospel. She taught Sunday school, AWANA, and VBS. She was an outgoing, happy, friendly and compassionate person. She read the Bible and prayed continuously.
She worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Director of Argonne National Laboratories before her retirement. In her stay at the nursing home, she enjoyed watching the Food Network and The Baking Championships.
She was such an amazing wife and mother and best Nana. Her beautiful smile could light up any room. She will be so greatly missed, but we are so glad she is in Heaven, singing and rejoicing and RUNNING on those streets of gold and laughing with all her family and friends! We are certain her manna will be Fannie May. Praise GOD, she's home.
