Of Joliet, went home peacefully at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the age of 86. Survived by three children Deborah (Faron) Connor, Linda (Jerry) Sanders and Raymond (Jayne) VanMeter, Jr. Two sisters Shirley Ceci and Kathy Mahalik. Her special caregiver Sally. She was the best grandma to her 9 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother Helen Galli, step-father Frank Galli, her sister Marilyn Matteson and an infant brother Jerry. Elizabeth was born to Helen Galli on October 21, 1935 in Normantown, Illinois. She had many years of service at Silver Cross Hospital and Morris Hospital. Elizabeth enjoyed family gatherings, BINGO and sitting in the hallway or on the patio with her friends. She left so many great memories with all who loved her. Memorial visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd, Monday, November 22th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
