Passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 21, 2016. Age 88. Survived by his four sons Allen (So Son-deceased), Larry (Michelle), Ron (Lori) and Kevin (Debbie) Campbell. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a sister Pearl (Gene) Borders. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his wife Margaret Campbell, his parents Gilbert and Catherine (nee VanGorder) Campbell and a brother Clarence Campbell. Veteran of the US Marines Corp. Retired from Rock Island Railroad; member of the Wilmington Church of the Nazarene and a lifetime member fo the VFW Cantigny Post #367. Elmer was a loving father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
