Ernest Phillip Beaver, lovingly known as Phillip, passed away on September 4, 2024 surrounded by family, at the age of 81.

Phillip found happiness in the simple things of life. He enjoyed playing his guitar, watching cowboy movies, fishing, and socializing with family and friends in the garage. If he was not doing any of those things, he could be found running his Bobcat or helping others with any kind of work that needed to be done. Phillip was a proud member of Local 150 Midwest Operating Engineers and the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Margaret Beaver, brother Gary, and sister Sandy.

Phillip is survived by his cherished daughter Shannon (Kodi) Butler and grandson Caleb Westervelt. He also leaves behind his loving siblings Lacey Beaver, Terry Beaver, Evon (Jerry) Griffin, and Pat (Dave) Reed. He was the fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Phillips also leaves behind his lifelong friend, and sister by choice, Robin Parker.

Private services have been entrusted to Carlson Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Road, Joliet.
