Patricia J. Galik of Johnston City, passed away at 2:40 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet, Illinois. Patty was born on September 14, 1936 in Paulton, Illinois the daughter of the late Braxton and Shirley (Parker) Parton. She married John Galik on March 28, 1970 in Braidwood, Illinois and were married until his death on November 12, 2002. Surviving are her brothers, Joe (Kathie) Parton, Gene (Anna Mae) Parton and Terry (Roberta) Parton; her sister, Jewell Chance; also survived by Margie Owen and Barb (Jim) Jimenez who were raised as her sisters; her sister-in-law, Mary Brown and by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services and Visitation will be held at the Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, Illinois on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Interment Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Paulton, Illinois.
