of Milwaukee, formerly of New Lenox, passed away peacefully after a long illness, Thursday, March 7, 2013. Age 89. Survived by her daughter Martha (Steven) Readel of Colorado Springs, CO; her son David (Darla) Tilton of Galena, IL; her granddaughter Mary Caroline Tilton; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Robert E. Tilton (1983), her parents and 7 brothers and sisters. Georgia was an avid homemaker, active volunteer with her church and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She worked as an administrative assistant with the Family Counseling Agency of Will County until her retirement to Decatur in 1985. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. Interment Maplewood Cemetery in New Lenox. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Alzheimer's Association of Illinois for research will be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.
