Obituary

Gerald James Bell – passed away at University of Chicago Hospital, Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Age 76 years.

Gerald worked in maintenance at the Palmer House for 39 years. He loved to travel, especially on cruses with his mom and his niece and nephew. He was a history buff and an avid reader, especially enjoying westerns and history. He loved spending time with his family, especially his pride and joy his great great nephew. Keagan.

Survived by his sister Joan Doman, nieces Christina Cybulski, Brandy Marie Richardson and Robyn Doman, nephews Jeremy Richardson, Kevin Briggs, Jimmy Richardson and Brandt Doman. Great nieces Elizabeth Cybulski, Alexandra Barba, Willow Richardson, great nephews Gregory Cybulski and Christian Richardson and great-great niece and nephew Rosalina Barba and Keagan Cybulski.

Preceded in death by his parents James and Dorothy Bell, his sister Susan Richardson, niece Bobbie Briggs and nephew Casey Richardson.

Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., at 9:30 A.M. to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 18 Woodlawn Ave, Joliet, Wednesday, March 22nd at 10:00 A.M. for Mass of Christian Burial.
