Passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side, Thursday, September 14, 2017. Age 73 years. Survived by her daughter Diane (Richard) Hill, Jr. and her son John A. (Julie) Milavec. Her mother Myrtle Farrington, her former husband and friend John P. Milavec. Five grandchildren Michael (Amelia) Bozman, John James Milavec, Richard Hill III, Rachel Milavec and Luke Milavec. Four great-grandchildren Brandon, Jennifer, Alannah and Steven. Two sisters Linda Fox and Gail Bacon. Also several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father George R. Elsner and her aunt Dorothy Porter (2016). Jeri was born March 2, 1944 in Joliet. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1962. She was a massage therapist in Darien since 1988, Jeri competed in several triathlon's into her 50's usually placing first or second in her age group. Jeri enjoyed living a healthy lifestyle, hiking, the outdoors and photography of nature and her grandchildren. Funeral procession will depart the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd. Tuesday, September 19th at 10:00 A.M. for interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Frankfort. Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
