Glenn E. Brosell

Age 93, late of Lakewood, IL and formerly of Joliet passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at The Pearl of Crystal Lake.

Born in Joliet on March 3, 1930 to the late Carl and Ethel (nee Benson) Brosell. He was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Employed as a Clerk for the Flying Tigers Co. in New Lenox before retiring.

Member of the First Presbyterian Church of Joliet and he enjoyed the Town and Country Bowling Leagues.

Preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Brosell (1995) and by his parents, Carl and Ethel Brosell.

Survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Greg) Neu of Lakewood, IL and his son, Robert (Dawn) Brosell of Austin, TX. His grandchildren, Casey Neu, Kevin (Elisa) Neu, Bryan (Natalie) Neu, Eric (Katie) Brosell and six adored great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road Joliet on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 9:00 AM until time of Service at 12:00 Noon.

Per Glenn's wishes, cremation rites were accorded with a private inurnment at Elmhurst Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Glenn to the American Red Cross (Helping Military and Veteran Families) or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated
