Passed away at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Friday, November 2, 2012. Age 89 years. Survived by her son Daniel R. (Sue) Bean of Ocala, FL.; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren; a brother Welton (Clarissa) Eberhart of Diamond Head, MS.; beloved God Daughter Kathleen Benn, numerous nieces and nephews. Two step-daughters Jean (Richard) Guill and Betsy (Larry) Eveland. Several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren also survive. Preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Bean, father and mother John B. and Louise Eberhart, sister Norma Benn and husband Arthur Eneix. Jean was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and former member of Willow Street Presbyterian Church. She was active in the church choir, Presbyterian Women Byktoa Circle, and "the news letter crew". She was a church ambassador. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Monday, November 5 at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Matt Robinson officiating. Interment Willard Grove cemetery in Channahon. Visitation will be held Monday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.
