Grace E. Stanton (nee Johnson) - Passed away peacefully at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Monday, February 26, 2018. Age 88. Survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, John Stanton Sr., her sons John (Jill) Stanton Jr. and Scott (Suzanne) Stanton; loving grandchildren Alec, Stephanie, Austin, Stacey and Ashley Stanton. Preceded in death by her parents Julius and Matilda Johnson, and two brothers Ronald (Jeanette) and Harold Johnson. Grace worked at Albany Bank in Chicago for over 15 years, she was a very active member of the Messiah Lutheran Church for many years. Grace was caring, selfless and a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed taking care of others. She was always honest with you no matter the outcome. Grace7 loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren trying to make ever event they were involved in. She will be missed by all who loved her. Memorial Services will be held at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home and Crematory 2320 Black Road, Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 6:30 P.M.
