Passed away peacefully Monday, February 3, 2014 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Age 79. Survived by his loving wife Dorothy Flowers. One son Jeffrey (Jola) Flowers, two daughters Sharon Flowers (Daniel) Kahl and Elizabeth Flowers (Jason) Morgan. 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and one brother Harry Flowers Jr. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Mary Flowers and his beloved daughter Victoria Lynn Hagerstrom. Retired from Commonwealth Edison in 1991. Member of Faith Lutheran Church. Through his life Harold cherished going on Canadian fishing trips with his family and watching the coming and goings of the beautiful hummingbirds in his back yard. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Friday, February 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jane Perkolup officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials to Faith Lutheran Church would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday 3-7 PM.
