Formerly of Joliet, passed away at his residence in Dwight, IL., Saturday, September 15, 2018. Age 80 years. Survived by his children Dennis Bradford McCallister, Harry Lee Flowers III, Debra Ann Flowers, Tammy Lynn (Todd) Vollmer, Michelle Lee (Stephen) Sternisha, Tina Houle (Bob) Schmittinger, Stephanie Joann (Andy Smith) Flowers and Antoinette JoAnn (Eric Gallentine) Flowers. Twenty-one grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Joann Flowers (nee Holmquist), a son William James McCallister. His sister Mary Ann Hefner and his brother Harold Flowers. Harry was born April 18, 1938 in Herrin, IL. to Harry Lee and Mary Emma Flowers. At the age of 8, Harry and his family relocated to Joliet. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1957. Veteran of the U.S. Army where he was an aircraft mechanic. Harry retired as a pipefitter. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Wednesday, September 19th at 7:30 P.M. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.
