Passed away at Lightways Hospice Home, Monday, October 11, 2021. Age 91 years. Survived by her two sons Kerry (Robin) Daniels and Marc (Lisa) Daniels. Five grandchildren Tracey (Daniel) Rowe, Lesley (John) Wojdyla, Joseph Daniels, Jessica (Michael) Vollmer, and Michael Daniels. Eleven great-grandchildren Carter, Brady, Kendall and Owen Rowe, Charlotte and Benjamin Wojdyla, Mason Daniels, Nolan, Gavin, Preston and Delaney Vollmer. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Joseph H. Daniels (2014). Helen was born February 9, 1930 in Wallingford, Connecticut to Michael and Usta Yakubovich. She retired from Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford where she worked in the Admissions Office. Helen and Joseph moved to Shorewood in 2003 to be near their sons and their families. Helen enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and many other homemaking activities. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Friday, October 22nd at 11:00 A.M. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
