Passed away peacefully at The Inn at Willow Falls with her family by her side, Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Age 93 years. Survived by four children Bruce (Debbie) Goddard, Susan (Dan) Kucenski, Linda Pickett and Brian (Karen) Goddard. Fourteen grandchildren Barbara (Dan) Sheridan, Laura (Matt) Barys, Jeffrey (Deidra) Goddard, Scott (Alayna) Parker, Kelly (Dan) Rogina, Matthew (Lenny), Benjamin, Joshua (Heather) and Peter (Danielle) Kucenski, Elizabeth, Kathryn (Michael) Neumann and Jonathan Pickett, Nicole (Jonathan) Adams and Michael Goddard. Twenty-two great-grandchildren. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Dean I. Goddard (2009), her parents Herman L. and Signe Kuntz, a brother Herman L. Kuntz, Jr. and a sister Elaine (Bill) Heinzel. Helen was born December 21, 1914 in Joliet. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1942. Lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Alter Guild and Sunday School teacher. She was an Election Judge for Will County Elections for many years. Helen was a devoted mother, wife and homemaker. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Saturday, January 13th at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Chris Beamsley officiating. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M.
