Helen Jayne Josephson passed into eternal life peacefully December 10, 2020 at age 99. Born in Chicago, IL on January 9, 1921 daughter of William & Gertrude Wright. Lived in Chicago, Washington State and Denver, Colorado. Retired from Standard Oil Co. in Chicago after 23 years of service. Jayne was a proud senior member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Joliet, IL and devoted most of her 60 years of membership there to various charitable organizations through church. Her greatest pleasure was her family & church. She dedicated so much time and love to her faith and was one of Gods faithful servants. Left to mourn her loss are her two loving daughters, Nancy (Gary) Perinar and Susan Ness, Daughter-in-law Marianne Scott (wife of deceased son James Scott); Faithful loving grandmother of seven, great-grandmother of seven and great-great grandmother of one. Numerous adored nieces & nephews survive. Preceded in death by her faithful husband, Willard Josephson (2000) and dearest loving son James Scott (2017); dear mother, father and loving brother and sister. Private funeral services were held by family Dec. 15, 2020 at the Carlson Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Carlson of Bethlehem Lutheran Church officiating. Final resting place Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family would like to extend extreme gratitude to the staff at Our Lady of Angels, who provided tender heartfelt care. Also, to Hospice for their compassion, prayers & guidance, making her last days peaceful.
