Formerly of Joliet-Channahon, passed away at his residence in Rockwood, TN. Tuesday, September 27, 2005. Age 73 years.\r\nSurvived by his wife Jessie (Nee Smith-Owen) of Rockwood, TN. His three children Pam (Ed) Hines of Joliet, Duayne (Lora) Boothe of Joliet and Kim (Larry) Abbott of Minooka. Six grandchildren Jason and Lauren Hines, Kylie and Tyler Boothe, Stefanie DeBenedetti and Jessica Abbott. Two sisters Lucille Russell and Grace Poole both of Tennessee. Two step-daughters Phyllis (Barry) Morgan and Lynette (Tony) Smith. Two step-grandsons Jeremy and Travis Comer, two step-granddaughters Shannon Comer and Jessa Lindsey. Two step-great-grandsons Zack and Brennan Comer. Special friends Tim, Missy Levi and Scooter Comer.\r\nPreceded in death by his first wife Harriett Boothe (1999). Retired from Lockport Manufacturing Steel Co in 1979. Former member of the Joliet Elks Lodge #296 and formerly bowled at Rivals A.C.
