Passed away at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Thursday, September 4, 2008. Age 71 years.\r\nSurvived by his wife of 24 years Karen M. Magnabosco (Nee Terry); his two daughters Lisa (Jon) Olsen and Maria (Dennis) Surufka. His step-children Tony (Tammy) Phillips, Terri (Marco) Larios, Cynthia Ramsey and Joe (Charla) Phillips. Eighteen grandchildren Ryan, Kyle, Alec, William, Emma, Maxwell, Annamarie, Laura, A.J., Dominic, Breanna, Sabrina, Alexa, Jennifier, Joseph, Jacqueline, Lisa and Angelina. His sister Arline (Don-deceased) Nelson and his brother Peter (Nancy-deceased) Magnabosco.\r\nPreceded in death by his parents Enrico and Catherine Magnabosco. \r\nBorn in Chicago on April 6, 1937. Thomas was the owner and operator of Joliet Tire Center for 18 years, an Electrolux salesman in the Chicagoland area for 10 years and has been the manager of Lata Transmissions for the past 12 years. Veteran of the U.S.Army and member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Tom's passion helping to build late model race cars. Also, building and racing go-karts with his grandson.
