Age 95 years, passed away on Monday morning, April 5, 2021. Beloved wife of 52 years to the late Robert W. Ward, daughter of Helen and Louis Larsen and sister to stepbrother Roger Talley. Survived by her children Nancy (Jack) Lucaora, Pamela (Ernesto) Iannotta, grandchildren Giancarlo Iannotta and Marco (Brittany) Iannotta and her companion Charles Anderson. In 1937, her parents bought her first piano which started a lifelong passion as she taught piano and organ at the Lyon and Healey Studio and in her home for many years. For over forty years Jackie was the organist at First Lutheran Church additionally serving as organist at Carlson Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home. She also performed at the historic Rialto Theater in downtown Joliet which was featured on a live recording in 1964 released on a vinyl record. Her joy though was playing mini concerts for friends and family wherever there was an available piano, especially at Christmastime. Jackie and her husband Bob travelled extensively throughout the USA in their RV visiting all 50 states and making several trips to Europe. She was a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, The Joliet Women's Club, Joliet Area Organ Enthusiasts as well as several local Golf leagues. In recent years, Jackie enjoyed her life and activities at Willow Falls Senior Living and played the piano for the Tuesday morning church services. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Friday at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Kurt Hoover officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation Friday, April 9th from 9:00 A.M. until services at 11:00 A.M.
