Obituary

(nee Miller), of Plainfield, where she resided for the past 45 years. Born September 4, 1942 in Carbondale, IL went to the arms of Jesus on Saturday, May 24, 2014. Survived by her husband of 50 years, Eugene Alberico, two daughters, Carla (Mark) Binzen of Channahon and Crystal (David) Pearce of Lynnwood, Washington; two step-sons, Jim (Kathy) Alberico of Crest Hill and Randy Alberico of Minooka; nine grandchildren, Courtney Binzen, Lindsey Binzen, Nate Alberico, Anthony Alberico, Melissa Alberico, Justin Alberico, Mark Alberico, Jordan Alberico and Dominic Alberico; one great granddaughter, Rayvn Alberico; her brother, Earl (Joyce) Michels of Marshall, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, Carl Miller and Thelma Michels (nee Pribble); brother, Carl Miller; and step father, Donald Michels.Member for 41 years at Friendship Baptist Church in Plainfield, where she led a prayer ministry, worked in Sunday School, VBS, the nursery, loved supporting missionaries, and singing in the church choir. Retired from Marshall Fields where she worked in the Children's Department. Lying in state at the Friendship Baptist Church, 15801 S. Route 59, Plainfield, on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 10:00 AM. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Friendship Baptist Church on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. -
