Janine T. Jaeger - born on July 13, 1951, in Chicago, IL to Stanford and Marie (nee Belter) Osborn, passed away on March 25, 2025, at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, surrounded by her loving family.

Jan, as she was known, enjoyed traveling to Florida and other warm locations when possible. When home she enjoyed engaging in various arts and crafts and was an avid reader.

Most of all, Jan cherished spending time with her family. She never forgot a birthday or holiday and loved celebrating with family.

Jan is survived by her husband Steven Jaeger, sons Joseph (Katherine) Erkenswick, Jeffery (Melanie) Erkenswick and James (Traci) Erkenswick; she is also survived by eight grandchildren and their four legged friend Andy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jason Erkenswick, as well as her siblings James Osborn and Judy Heil.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 1st from 1:00-3:00 P.M at the Carlson Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home 2320 Black Road Joliet, IL. Inurnment will be private at a later date.
