Jennifer L. Braasch

Of Joliet, passed away at St. Joseph Medical Center on Friday, August 21, 2026 at the age of 50 years.

Jennifer was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family, especially her two sons John Thomas Braasch and Zack Braasch. She loved her sons deeply and was proud of the young men they had become. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she shared with them will remain a lasting part of their lives.

Jennifer is survived by her beloved sons John Thomas Braasch and Zack Braasch. Her father John Carl Becker, Sr. and her brother John Carl Becker, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her mother Tina Becker, in 2016.

Jennifer was born on March 30, 1976, in Alsip, Illinois. She graduated from Allan B. Shepard High School and Joliet Junior College and continued her education at Ashford University, where she earned her childcare accreditation.

Jennifer had a special love for children and dedicated her career to caring for and nurturing them. She was employed by Grace Child Care and had previously worked at Stacy Jo’s Day Care. Working with children brought her happiness, and she cared for them with patience, kindness, and a genuine love for what she did.

Memorial services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 1718 Avalon Ave. on Friday, September 4th at 11:00 A.M.
