Age 50 years, late of Plainfield, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Detroit, Michigan on August 15, 1969, he was raised in a nearby suburb of Sterling Heights and attended Sterling Heights High School where he enjoyed playing baseball. He was given a scholarship and was recruited in high school to try-out for the minor leagues. Jeremy was a local business owner of various Jet's Pizza restaurants, including the location in Joliet. He was generous and charitable; a huge supporter of local/community/school sports, booster clubs and organizations; always willing to help out those in need. He was a huge Detroit Lions Fan and enjoyed watching sports and playing golf. He loved going to the casino to play poker and blackjack. He was a collector of Muscle Cars and Harley-Davison Motorcycles and enjoyed fixing-up cars and motorcycles. He had a real talent who could fix anything with his hands. Jeremy will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor while making people laugh by playing tricks and telling jokes. He was the loving father of Mikayla and Mia Fleishman. Also survived by his sister, Deanna Fleishman and cousins, Doreen Fleishman Ackner and her son Andrew Ackner; also survived by his former wife and children's mother, Donnell Ferris-Fleishman. Preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Susan (nee Eizen) Fleishman. A Memorial Gathering of family and friends will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road on Monday, February 24, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for his children's education fund would be greatly appreciated.
