Passed away suddenly on Friday, August 26, 2022 at John H. Stroger Hospital after battling Steven Johnson syndrome for 15 days. Age 61. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years Annette Sanchez (nee Sartori), step-daughter Tina (Ryan) Richards, daughters Aisha Sanchez and Jessica Sanchez, grandchildren Emilio, Anthoni, Michael, Gianni, Tessa, Christian and great-granddaughter Layla. Also survived by his loving mother Margarita, brothers Marty and Frank, sister Michelle (Steve) Jeffress. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Santiago Sanchez, sister Mary and brother Albert. Graduate of Romeoville High School 1979. Jim was employed by cable TV companies from 1980 To January 2021 where he retired from Comcast. Jim thoroughly enjoyed traveling the country with his wife Annette especially attending Cubs spring training in AZ. Jim passionately enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle with his buddy Doyle. Jim touched many lives and will be missed deeply by all. Visitation will be limited to family only at Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd Joliet on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 5:00 P.M – 7:00 P.M A Mass of Christian Burial will be open to family and friends on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:00 A.M at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2212 McDonough St. Joliet, IL Interment will follow and Jim will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
