Joan J. Reisner (nee Rathbun) – Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, Monday, January 18, 2016 at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home. Age 81. Survived by John her loving husband of 61 years, one son Randy (Cindi) Reisner, two daughters Kathy Hrvatin and Karen (Bill) Trepel; her grandchildren Kevin (Jennifer) Reisner, Bryan and Michael Reisner; Art (Kristen) Hrvatin, Kandi (Matt) Alfredson, Thomas Hrvatin, Dan Hrvatin and Paige (Clif) Mason; John, Andrew, Kim and Ben Trepel; 10 great-grandchildren a sister Evelyn (dec.Ralph) Richman, brothers Gary (Sharon) Rathbun and Steve (dec.Marsha) Rathbun. Many nieces, nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents Louis and Gladys Rathbun, brothers Louis Jr. (Peggy), Ken (dec.Rita), Ron (Rina) and Richard Rathbun; her sisters Pat (Nick) Burbach and Laurie (dec. Frank) Neenan. Joan was a great sports fan she loved all the Chicago sports teams and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Her greatest joy was following her grandchildren for their sporting events throughout the country. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3-7 PM.
