John D. Blaser

Age 69 years, passed away suddenly at his late residence in Shorewood. Born on April 2, 1953 and resided in Shorewood all of his life.

He was employed as a Production Manager for Stone Container and Caterpillar before retiring.

Preceded in death by his parents, William O. Blaser Sr. and Arlene (nee Holt) Blaser; 2 brothers, Stephen "Fat Boy" and Christian Blaser.

His long-time companion, Barbara "Moonbeam" Moon.

Survived by his brothers and sister, William (late, Rochelle) Blaser, Richard "Bubba" (Sharon) Blaser, Douglas Blaser and Valerie (late, Bill "Hubcap") Dobson; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Rule Blaser; special Uncle John to Gabrielle Houde and A.J. Houde; niece and nephew also survive.

A celebration of John's life will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Joliet on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Will County Animal Humane Society, 24109 Seil Road, Shorewood, Illinois 60404 would be appreciated.
