Jack left high school to join the U.S. Marine Corps. After serving, he met the love of his life and married in 1960. He worked so many years since he was a teen. He retired from Sacco Industries and moved to Kimberling City, MO where he worked for Silver Dollar City. He loved to venture around Branson with his wife and family. He returned to Joliet in 2010 and worked part-time and fully retired at 82. In his early years, he loved to go to the auto races, fish and camp on the weekends and spend time with friends and family. He loved to watch NCIS. The biggest love was his family, always giving so many hugs and love, just wanting to be together. His next love was the Marine Corps. He was one proud Marine as he would tell everyone, "I'm a Marine". He loved to make people smile, he was the life of the party and there will never be another one like him.
A memorial service will be held at Ingalls Park Athletic Club, 20 Park Road, Joliet on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be appreciated.
