Passed away suddenly on a cruise with his wife by his side, Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Age 72. Survived by his loving wife Janice (nee Blackburn) Musson of Bolingbrook; two daughters Kristi (Jason) Frederick and Staci (Doug) Jevert, four step-children Michael (Jen) Hoffman, Heather (Bill) Murphy, Jeremy (Cheryl) Hoffman and Kaitlyn Schuberth. Ten grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents Mack and Jean (nee Junsola) Musson. Graduated with his BS from Bemidji State University with a degree in Technology and Engineering. Employed for 31 years as a Senior Field Service Engineer and as a Field Training Manager with Rockwell Automation. Veteran of the US Navy. Member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, Naperville, IL., Lifetime Member of the VFW Post # 15014, Wabash Valley Gun Collector Association, American Legion Post #0127, and the NRA. Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Interment with Full Military Honors will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Memorials in John's name to the Disabled American Veterans. Visitation Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.
