Of Plainfield, passed away at her residence, Sunday, March 25, 2018. Age 68 years. Survived by her husband of 45 years Kenneth F. Gurney, Four children Kenneth (Angela) Gurney, Kari (Jeffrey) Adamik, Kris (Susanne) Gurney and Donald (Cindy) Ostling. Six grandchildren Brian, Jacob, Kathryn, Clare, Kaitlyn and Colin. Her mother Valeria Hickey. Two brothers David (Vicky) Hickey and Kevin (Debra) Hickey. Two sisters Diane (Stan) Kozlowski and Marie (Doug) Allo. A brother-in-law Jeff Smith. Preceded in death by her father David Hickey and sister Susan Smith. Judith was born in Chicago on April 29, 1949. She retired from Illinois Tool Works where she was an accountant. Member of St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. Judy enjoyed caring for her children and grandchildren. Along with other members of the family she enjoyed gathering together for their stock club.
