Age 80, passed away peacefully in Morris Illinois (December 25,2023).Survived by her two daughters, Ms. Marjorie J. Hummel (Mark Lord) and (Roberta)Mrs. Todd Casagrande, both of Channahon, IL, one grandson, Matthew (Amanda) Casagrande of Channahon, one granddaughter, Jaclyn (Dylan) Snodgrass of Seabrook South Carolina. Three great grandchildren, Randy, Emree and Mattie Casagrande. One sister in law, Florence Labbe and numerous nieces and nephews. Judy Chelini Good friends, Patricia Mammoser and Judy Hasty.
Born in Joliet, Illinois on October 2, 1943. Lived in Joliet, New Lenox and Channahon for many years. Employed at the Boston Store, in the lunchroom at TE Culbertson School and later as a school bus driver for New Lenox School District 122. Lifetime member of the PTA. Caregiver of her sister, Beverly Jean. Judy loved to crochet, bake, decorate cakes and bowl. She loved traveling to Branson and watching horror movies.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frederick. Her parents, Marjorie and BE Chelini. Her sister, Beverly Jean Chelini and brother, Michael Chelini. Her nephew, James Chelini. Brother in law, William Labbe.
The family would like to thank Stephanie, Jessica and Jennifer for her care and compassion shown.
Cremation rites were accorded to Judith's wished.. Interment of the cremains will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.Memorials in her name to Lightways Hospice would be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory.
