Obituary

Judith A. Speckman (nee Mammosser) - Passed away at Lightways Hospice Home, Thursday, July 21, 2022. Age 83 years. Survived by her three sons William (Karen) Speckman, Daniel (Kelly) Speckman and Ron (Kathy) Speckman. Eight grandchildren Katie, Michelle, Janet, Brittany, Bradley, Brooks, Steve and Jennifer. Six great-grandchildren Shamus, Jackson, Evelyn, Ava, Hank and Bella. Two brothers Bill (Jean) Mammosser and Jerry Mammosser and her sister Joan Jerome. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. Speckman and her brother Tom Mammosser. Judy was born August 29, 1938 in Joliet to the late William "Bud" Mammosser and Alice Floyd (nee Hutton). Graduate of Providence Catholic High School and Joliet Junior College School of Nursing. Judy worked as a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital for years, some of which were in the hospice department. She hosted countless parties and events over the years for friends and family. Member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a tireless volunteer for the Catholic Church. Judy will always be remembered as someone willing to help a friend in need. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, 706 N. Broadway, Tuesday, July 26th at 10:00 A.M.
