Judith Ann Sams (nee Vaclav) - passed away peacefully at her residence, Sunday, October 20, 2024. Age 82.

Judy is survived by her children Donna (Rich) Henson, Lesa (Glen) Skiles, Robert (Angie) Sams, Jason Sams, grandchildren Paige (Kevin) Henson, Aaron (Tiffany) Henson, Clayton Skiles, Olivia Sams; great-grandchildren Jaxson Lhotak, Delaney Lhotak and her sister Mary Lou (Tom) Dziekanowski. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents John and Helen Vaclav her husband Bob Sams, brother John Vaclav and infant daughter Patricia Sams.

Judy was a strong, independent christian woman who always put others first. She enjoyed her many family vacations especially her trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Judy was very proud of her Polish heritage and enjoyed doing the family gatherings her way. Judy loved her family and spending time with all of them was very important to her. If she wasn't with her family, you could find her working in her yard.

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmqiust-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory 2320 Black Road, Joliet, Monday, October 28th at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 27th from 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ First Baptist Church of Minooka and Family Worship Center Church Inc.
