Kathryn L. Rydzon (nee Kavanaugh) Age 96 years, passed away on Wednesday April 17, 2019 at Presence Villa Franciscan. Born in Joliet and Life-long member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus. Preceded in death by her husband, Thaddius Rydzon (1987); her parents, Maurice and Antonia (nee Vranicar) Kavanaugh. Survived by her sister, Mary L. Horejs; nieces, nephews and friends also survive. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home Chapel, 1201 Wyoming Ave. Joliet on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Inurnment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In accordance with Kathryn's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
