Kenneth F. Gurney – passed away peacefully, Friday February 13, 2026 at Edward Hospital. Age 79.

Survived by his four children Kenneth (Angela) Gurney, Kari (Jeffrey) Adamik, Kris (Susanne) Gurney and Donald (Cindy) Ostling. Six grandchildren Brian, Jacob, Kathryn, Clare, Kaitlyn and Colin. One sister Karen (Robert) Young.

Preceded in death by his wife Judith A. Gurney, his parents Felix and Lucille Gurney and his sister Priscilla (Bud) Walton.

Ken retired from Woodlawn Memorial Park. He was a hard worker, taking great pride in supporting his family. He enjoyed wildlife, especially watching deer. He loved working in his yard and being outside. He enjoyed having dogs especially rescuing grey hounds. Ken had a passion for fish, having multiple tanks in his home and raising unique fish to then sell.

Funeral services will be held at Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory 2320 Black Road., Friday, February 20th at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of services. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
