Kenneth L. Maielli Passed away at Silver Cross Hospital with his family by his side, Friday, September 9, 2016. Age 73 years. Survived by his loving wife Barbara Maielli, of 47 years; two sons Steve (Piyada) Maielli, David Maielli and daughter Lisa Maielli; three grandchildren Payton and Colt Oehmen and Calogino Maielli. Mother in law Lucille McCarter; and loving niece Janet (Lou) Ketz also survive. Preceded in death by his brother Robert Maielli, his parents Faust and Mary Maielli and father in law Harold McCarter. Ken served in the Navy in Viet Nam aboard the USS Enterprise. Ken retired from Commonwealth Edison after 31 years and spent over 40 years repairing clocks. He was a great outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and especially riding his Harley. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. Visitation Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
