Kilhafner (Nee Wallace), children Katherine Kilhafner of Naperville, Dennis L.(Dr. Paula Bebej) Kilhafner of Lemont, Karen K. (Karl) Prati of Coal City and Deborah L. Kilhafner of Shorewood. Five grandchildren Luke and Kendell Kilhafner, Mollie, Chad and Tim Grunwald. A great-granddaughter Jaelie. His aunt Bertha "Tootsie" Arends of Cape Girardeau, MO. Also his dogs Angel and Pockets.\r\nPreceded in death by his parents William and Hermina Kilhafner, two brothers Bill and Tom Kilhafner. Two nephews Tommy Jr. and Tommy Bruce. \r\nBorn February 19, 1934 in Oran, Missouri, Dennis retired from the E.J & E Railway as Yard Master. Life member of Lockport V.F.W. Post # 5788. Veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy. Member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
