Larry O. Patrick

Of Lockport, passed away at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the age of 76.

He is survived by his loving daughters Marlene Pedone of Lockport and Laura Soto of Godley; cherished granddaughters Nicole(Colten) Boswell, Shannon (Ryan) Rosenbrock, Brittany, Marissa and Savannah Soto and adored great-grandchildren Meara and Raiden Boswell. Also surviving are his brother Rick (Barb) Patrick, sister Pam (Gregg) Pomykala, and two nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy E. Patrick (née Zeiger) in 2008 and their infant daughter Angela.

Born January 7, 1949, in Joliet, Larry was the son of the late Orville and Doris (née Sandahl) Patrick. He graduated from Joliet Township High School with the Class of 1968. Larry spent his career with the U.S. Postal Service in the Lockport and Romeoville Post Offices until his retirement.

A gifted guitarist and song writer, Larry shared his love for music through writing and performing country and gospel songs with his brother. Together, they brought joy to countless church and nursing home audiences and went on to publish more than 80 music cd's.

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Friday, May 16th at 12:00 P.M. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
