Laurice A.Patterson (nee Day) Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side Saturday. April 28, 2018. Age 85 years. Survived by nine children Ralph (Sarita) Patterson Jr., Daniel Patterson, Eileen (Gordon) Smith, Karen (Joseph) Carrizales, Robert (Connie) Patterson, Brian (Linda) Patterson, Richard (Tina) Patterson, Jill (James) Polites and Jeanette (Jason) Folkenroth; 28 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara (Bill) Busch; two brothers, Don (Diana) Day and Fred Day. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Patterson Sr. and a son, Larry Patterson. Laurice was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Choir. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who's greatest joy was spending time with her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 337 S. Ottawa Street, Joliet, IL on Wednesday, May 2nd at 11:00 A.M. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10:00 A.M until the time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church would be appreciated.
