Lawrence E. Daugherty - of Joliet passed suddenly at his home Friday, December 16, 2022. Age 77.

Born June 26, 1945 in Caryville, TN. Lawrence was the youngest child of the late Daniel and Birdie Daugherty.

Lawrence was a deacon and founding member of Prince of Peace Church in Joliet. Retiree of Kerr Glass and Owens Glass.

Lawrence is survived by 2 children; Laura (Frank) Johnston & Matthew (Sabrina) Daugherty and Daughter in-law Cheryl Daugherty; 4 grandchildren Anthony (Andrea) Daugherty, Daniel Daugherty, Erin (Joshua) Williams and Carli Johnston; 7 great grandchildren; Ethan & Olivia Williams, Dylan Daugherty, Dalilah, Saya, Alisa & Daphne Myers. Numerous in-laws, nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by his Wife Deloris Daugherty, Parents Daniel & Birdie Daugherty; three sisters Jean Parks, Mary Alice Hatmaker & Faye Phillips; and son James Daugherty

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home 2320 Black Road, Wednesday December 21st at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M until time of services. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
