(nee Caretto) – Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Age 97.
Longtime resident of Joliet and Lockport. Born August 12, 1915 in Harrisburg, IL.
Survived by a daughter Andrea (Gene) Burla. Two granddaughters Susan (Theodore) Zimmermann of St. Louis, MO and Deborah (Steven) Wilson of Morris, IL. Five great-grandchildren Andrew and Peter Zimmermann, Calvin, Annie and Emily Wilson. A brother Martin Caretto and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband Andrew M. Fenoglio, her parents Michael and Filicina Caretto, two sisters Margaret Caretto and Mary Louise Krichena, a brother John Caretto, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Joseph and Victoria Judnich.
She worked for many years in retail at David Balch and Troughtons ladies stores.
A loving mother, wonderful grandmother and cherished great-grandmother, a kind and generous friend to all. She will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Inn at Willow Falls for the kindness and friendship during her residency.

Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, on Saturday 9:30 AM to the Church of St. Anthony for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation Saturday from 8:30 AM until time of services at 9:30 AM.
